I !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that racing is indeed a sport and that the drivers are indeed athletes. (Yes, I know the Jalopnik article exists)
And guess what.
He finally gave up.
My previous attempts to prove that racing is more than just sitting and turning the steering wheel have been futile, and I'm sure you guys have gone through the same stuff. So, Opponauts, show your friends that article and let it do all the work by including science and words and math. Ok, not really math, but they'll have to go convert (see, Google) kilograms to pounds to fully understand stuff.
Also, this whole post is now an impromptu photo dump!
